As a volunteer, I regularly witness how Expectations Womens' Center cares deeply for our community.

When a lady walks through the doors of EWC, she is greeted by warm, friendly staff. She is offered water and a snack. She is offered a listening ear and an advocate to support her on her journey. She is offered tissues when tears fall because life doesn't always go the way we plan. She hears about Redemption and how Jesus made a way when there was no way. She hears that she is loved and that she is not alone even though her support system is lacking. EWC not only offers free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, but they also connect women to OB care, and financial aid as well as offer parenting classes. As women participate in a variety of classes, they have an opportunity to earn coupons to use at the in-house thrift store. This store provides affordable prices for anything a mom and young children could need. But the care doesn't stop there. EWC also offers programs for dads and provides ongoing care throughout their unexpected journey.
