Expedition Lapland · 25 July 2018

Our vision is of a revitalised wild forest in the Scottish Highlands, providing space for wildlife to flourish and communities to thrive. Our mission is to rewild the Scottish Highlands by enabling the restoration of the globally unique Caledonian Forest which once covered much of Scotland.

Story

Departing on 25 July 18, starting from the most Northern part of Europe at Nordkapp in Norway, I will be donning my rucksack as I head South through Norway, Finland and Sweden, crossing through taiga forest, snow-capped mountains and immense wetlands rich with wildlife, wild camping along the way. It should take around 70 days to complete.

I will be producing an adventure documentary of the expedition which will be ready by January 2019, when I will screen the film and deliver talks in schools and at events, in the hope that my photographs, films and talks will inspire people to help reverse the decline in wildlife populations, get outside and enjoy the wilderness.

Thank you for donating, and taking the time to check it out!
