Marie Curie Cancer Care is a charity which is being supported in 2015 by Alison’s employer, Yorkshire Building Society. The charity supports people living with any terminal illness, not just cancer, and their families, offering expert care, guidance and support, free of charge, to help them get the most they can from life, in the time they have left.  

The charity provides nurses night and day, in people’s homes across the UK, providing hands-on care and vital emotional support.  They help people throughout their illness by giving practical information, support from trained volunteers and being there when someone wants to talk.
