Byte Night Scotland West 2018 · 5 October 2018 ·
We are sleeping out for the night for Action for Children as we wish to tackle youth homelessness.
Our team, consisting of sleepers Colin West, Mark Adamson, Grace Cheah, Kathryn McCrindle, Pete Johnson, Kirsten Burnett, Derek Busby, and Lauren Spark, are sleeping out on Friday 6th October in Blythswood Square to help tackle the root causes of youth homelessness.
Every year, 83,000 young people find themselves without a place
to stay. In solidarity and to raise much-needed funds and awareness, we are giving up our beds for one night to make a positive difference to these young people’s lives. As strong believers in the power of community, we want to do our part to help a cause that is sadly very prevalent in Glasgow, along with the rest of the UK.
Last year Byte Night raised over £1.25 million to support this vital work undertaken by Action for Children. Every donation helps, as a donation of just £5 could pay for a hot meal for a homeless young person.
Thank you to all of Eyecademy's friends and family for all your support.
