06-6-2020 is an important date in our calendar as 6/6 is perfect vision in the UK and 20/20 is perfect vision in the USA. The date presents St Paul's Eye Unit with a unique opportunity to raise the importance of sight because protecting it and correcting it will improve the quality of day to day life for everyone. The World Health Organisation estimate that 2.2 billion people have a vision impairment or blindness of whom at least 1 billion have a vision impairment that could be corrected.
