I know that following my little bike ride in 2010 most of you wouldn't sponsor me for anything that isn't classed as mental and i can't think of much more physically demanding than this. I'm completing IRONMAN Wales, which is a 2.4mile swim (155 lengths of a pool) 112mile bike ride (London to Bristol) and a 26.4mile run (a full marathon)

I have chosen this charity because following my friend Alastair CARTER's accident in February 2012 where he ended up paralysed from the chest down the SIA have helped him with his transition (little triathlon punn). Always there to offer advice and support on care and various other topics when he needs it. They also send people of a similar level of injury injury to speak to Alastair to show what is possible. And as well as offering this help and support they are funding research into spinal injuries and treatment.
