Mike Hike 2019 · 1 June 2019

We work hard to support anyone that needs our help and assistance in the Wycombe district. We offer peer support groups throughout the week as well as a number of activities from our centre and local venues. We are also involved directly with the community in the various outreach projects we run.

Story

Hi everyone, thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

On 1st June, I am taking part in the Isle of Arran Mind Hike, a 50 km, 24 hour gruelling test of endurance and team work.

Thrown together for just a day with a group of people I have never met before, we will be tasked with navigating this island for 24 hours - unassisted - and completing the 50 km route.

To do this - I need your help!

Ahead of the hike, I am setting myself a series of physical challenges this year and it would mean the world to me to receive your sponsorship.

Challenge #1 - Dorney 10 km

As anyone who knows me will attest, I am not a natural runner. I much prefer sitting down sports like rowing and cycling. So I thought what better way to break down this barrier by running the Dorney 10 km on 16 Feb!

Challenge #2 - Mini Tough Mudder

On 13 April I am taking part in a 'mini' tough mudder in Finsbury park. 5 km and 20 obstacles - and I am determined to complete them all!

Challenge #3 - Full Tough Mudder

On 5 May I am running my second full tough mudder. This course is no joke. Over 20 obstacles across 10 miles of unforgiving Chiltern hills. Time to beat, 3 hours. LET'S DO THIS.

My goal is to raise £700 by 31st May - it would mean the world to me if you could help me reach my target!
