Challenge 21 - WDSD 2021 · 21 March 2021 ·

DSO provides information, help and activities for children with Down’s Syndrome and their families in the Oxfordshire area. We offer Speech and Language therapy, a supportive network of people with a wealth of experience, and friendship at organised social events for children and adults of all ages.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The 21st March is world Down’s Syndrome Day and to celebrate, Astrid and Ezra will be attempting to throw 21 balls each into a basket.

We are doing this to raise much needed funds for DSO so they can continue to support people with Down’s Syndrome and their families in Oxfordshire.

Like many other charities DSO has been hit hard by the pandemic and funds are down by 80%. Regardless of this they have been super busy organising activities for families and providing support. In this very different climate the DSO volunteers have had to step up and change how they operate in these difficult times. This has meant a massive restructure to facilitate online activities and support and it’s been a massive success. But..... it all costs, and this is why we are fundraising.

Our aim is to raise £21 but we hope to surpass that considerably. Thank you! ❤️
