Story
Hi guys!
From the 23rd-26th June I will be doing the 5 Peaks Challenge to raise money for the Open Heaven building fund to re-do St Peters church (the church on the corner of Storer Road and Fearon Street).
I am doing this event through LSU Rag but all the money is going to Open Heaven! This is going to be a pretty massive challenge for me as I currently have a twisted spine :S and am hardly able to walk down the road!
It involves climbing 5 mountains in just 72 hours: Ben Nevis, Helvellyn, Scaffel Pike, Snowdon and Cader Idris. Thats over 1000 miles by road, 50 miles by foot, and over 17,000FT to climb in just 3 days!
I will also be the team leader of a group of 12 - mostly boys - haha!
