In memory of Poppy Litchfield

The Friends of the Baby Unit was established 47 years ago (1976) to raise money for equipment for use in the intensive care of preterm and sick newborn babies being cared for on the Neonatal unit at The Royal Derby Hospital. The money raised over that time is now over £2 million pounds. Thank you

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2008, we unexpectedly gave birth to our daughter, Poppy on 15th of July weighing just 666g at 27 weeks, after stopping growing at 23 weeks.

She fought long and hard with the amazing help of the staff on NICU, however she lost her battle 23rd of December the same year.

We miss her every day, but as this would have been her 10th birthday, we would love to raise some money for the unit to contribute to buying new and much needed equipment, to mark the occasion.

I would like to do this by doing a sponsored slim...🙈  I aim to loose 2 stone by July (more if possible) and feel this will benefit myself whilst raising money for a worthy charity.

I appreciate your time and any donations are gratefully received.

Thankyou, Faye, Ross & Oliver.
