We fund research and support services to help all those affected by ataxia

Story

On Sunday 7th June we will be taking part in her first Triathlon together. We will be swimming 400m, cycling 22km and finishing with a 5km run.

We are doing this to raise money and awareness for Ataxia UK, a charity that provides support for people suffering with Ataxia as well as funding vital research into possible treatments and cures for Ataxia. Sadly Grace and Faye's mother, Caroline Waller, lost her long and destructive fight to this awful condition on 31st December 2014. It is extremely important to us that more people are made aware of what Ataxia is, the symptoms and effects it can have on someone's life, and how we can help to find the correct treatments, and ultimately a cure for this awful condition.

10,500 people in the UK have ataxia which is a progressive neurological condition that disrupts the messages sent from our brains to our muscles that are used to move, speak, listen and see. Ataxia UK funds research into finding treatments and a cure and provide support until they are found.
