We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running the Warwickshire Autumn WOLF Run on 5th September 2015 in memory of Will, a dear friend who sadly lost his battle with cancer in September 2012.

Will was cared for on the Young Peoples Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. This unit is specifically designed to treat young people between the ages of 16 and 24 who are diagnosed with cancer and is partly funded by the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The level of care that Will received on this ward was outstanding; the staff not only cared for him but for his family too. All donations made will be directed to this ward so that others who find themselves in a similar position can benefit as Will did.

Nearly three years on and I am taking on my first fundraising event in his memory. I wanted a real challenge and I think it will turn out to be just that! I think the thought of me pulling myself over huge, muddy obstacles would make Will laugh, so please do dig as deep as possible!
