Dear Parents and Carers, 

We have signed all the children up from EYFS to Year 6 to the 2.62mile London Mini Schools Marathon. As part of our Daily Mile initiative, we are going to be running, jogging, skipping, walking or wheeling our way around the track every day to raise money for our AMAZING PTFA! We are going to start this challenge on Monday 26th September and it will conclude on Friday 30th September. Each day, every child will be given the opportunity to contribute to their weekly goal of covering the 2.62mile distance. 

All of the funds raised will go towards the PTFA which play such a vital part in enriching our children’s education from funding 60% of the many workshops that we have at Fairfields to purchasing books for our school library or specific equipment for any subject. 

Once completed, each child will receive an official London Mini Marathon pin and certificate to congratulate them on their achievement.
