Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters my name is Mujtabah Rathor some of you may know me as Muj or my brothers Qasad, Kazaan, Kaashaf, Aamer and Safeer. Sadly my mother passed away on 1st of June from a serious brain operation. As brothers we have decided to commence The Fakhra Water Project on behalf of my mother as a form of ongoing charity.

'When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them.' 

(Hadith of the Prophet ﷺ, narrated by Muslim)

Ongoing charity – sadaqah jariyah – is one of the most valuable acts we can do in this life, which continues benefiting us in the next, even after we have left the earth. InshaAllah, we hope that our water project is a continuing charity, providing water for years to come. Allowing the less fortunate to access water and keep themselves healthy.

The Fakhra Water Well Project will be providing dug water wells in Kashmir where people do not have access to clean drinking water. 

The location of the first well is going to be ABIDA MALIK PUBLIC GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL the full adress for this property is Number One Purani Kachari Road, Kotli, Azad Kashmir. At present there is approximately 400 students and teachers attending the school.

The location of the second well is going to be LATOI VILLAGE, KHNA, LINK ROLI ROAD, KOTLI, AZAD KASHMIR which has a very limited to sometimes non existent water supply.

The third location is still waiting approval and will be disclosed shortly to all.

My father Mohammed Iqbal Rathor at present lives in Kolti, Azad Kashmir he will be overlooking the project. In order for this project to be a success we are in need of donations. We have a target so please have a open heart and give generously InshAllah Allah will reward you for your . Charity is a gift given to us by allah (swt)  it is was one of the greatest deeds we can perform we should all take this opportunity increase our good deeds. I pray that all of your mothers live long and healthy life's, heaven is under the feet of your mother and we must all strive for paradise once again if you could please aid me in this project it would be most appreciated. Remembrance

My dear mother not a day has passed where I haven't thought about you. We had such a loving relationship, you where more like my closest friend. I could be so open with you and tell you anything, we would laugh and joke and eat out of each others hands. You knew when I was hungry and use to tell me to eat. You could tell when I was angry and upset and always tried cheering me up. You could tell when I was feeling unwell and ask me to lay in your lap and you would rub my head. You knew me inside and out, we shared so much and I miss you so much. Sincerely from my heart, 'My Lord have mercy upon my mother and forgive them as they have bought me up with love. Grant them a high station in Jannah.'

Everybody has only one mother, I tried my level best to do everything I could for mine. My only regret is that I wanted to continue to do more, we had sat together and made plans. I will never forget what we spoke about and InshAllah I will hold your name up high and fulfil all your dreams. Please brothers and sisters I plea with you make use of your time love and respect not just your parents but everyone. Do everything you can for your loved ones and people, because this is what really matters in life. Reap all the rewards you can in this life. You only realise what you have when it is gone. I didn't ever think this would happen to me but what is certain in life is that to Allah we belong and to him we will return.
