Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We've been involved with the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre (HADC) for many years, both professionally and in terms of receiving help and guidance.  It's essential that we recognise the importance of a neurodiverse society and the talents that we have to offer, which in the case of dyslexia can be problem-solving skills, multi-dimensional thinking, creativity, good verbal communication skills, to name but a few.  Dyslexia is not just a difficulty with reading!  The charity will be 50 years old next year, and the team continues to provide personalised help across the age groups and to work tirelessly to spread dyslexia awareness, following in the footsteps of our founder, Helen Arkell, one of the pioneers of dyslexia.
