Just a brief background - I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in Feb 2012, unfortunately at the same time I was told I had secondary mets which meant my cancer had spread and was not cureable. Thankfully it is treatable at the moment and I am currently doing well. After a two week stay in hospital I was transferred to WOODLANDS Hospice where I began my rehabilitation. The place itself is like a 5* hotel. The staff are wonderful. The support is amazing. Woodlands is a very peaceful, happy place and deals with very sick people either for respite, pain management or end of life. It costs about £2000 a day to run and depends a lot on donations. My Family and Friends decided it would be nice to give something back so we decided on our Family Fundraiser and Sponsored Walk around Victoria Park. It is on Sun 23rd June at 1pm. We have refreshments and fun and games planned. Come and join us for a small donation to Woodlands. Bring a picnic, wear something pink to raise awareness of Breast Cancer. Prize for  best dressed dog.
