We are arranging a charity football tournament in memory of Farrukh Shabbir who sadly lost his battle against cancer on 17th March 2012 aged 22, after being diagnosed in September 2011. Farrukh was diagnoised with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) and underwent a bone marrow transplant which led to further complications.

We are raising awareness and fundraising for the Karen Morris Memorial Trust who provided the excellent accommodation facilities for his family whilst being treated at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. The Karen Morris Memorial Trust is a registered charity that provides 'a home from home' at a number of hospitals in England for families of patients with leukaemia. Please show your support by donating to this charity.
