APT works with churches in Burkina Faso, West Africa, to bring God's blessing to their communities through church planting, education, poverty relief, and community development.

Story

The Big Five-O!

This race is now over. Thank you for all your sponsorship which will enable us to bring further blessing to Burkina Faso.

Half of all funds raised will go towards the building of the Gorom-Gorom primary school, and the rest will be used where most needed for APT's other work of poverty relief, community development, church planting etc.

I finished the race in 52mins, 22 secs, which was my best time by over 2 minutes, so I was very happy. Quite a few people from Glenwood Church also ran with me, and many others came to cheer us on.

It was the fifth and final 10k race I have been running as part of the "Faso Five-O" fundraising, in celebration of my 50th birthday and Burkina Faso's 50th year of independence, to raise funds for our work with APT, bringing God's blessing to Burkina Faso.

This page will continue to receive donations for a few more weeks. You can also:
