Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm Mathew Williams.  I'm a 28 year old Welshman who now finds himself living and working in West London.

I've set myself some pretty big challenges for 2014 in an effort to raise a bit of money for charity, get fit, and hopefully lose some weight too.  I'm signing up to take part in loads of cycling and running events including a series of 10km races and two half marathons.  I'll also be taking part in several long-distance cycling sportives for the first time, as well as two multi-day rides around the UK.

You can read about each event I’m taking part in and keep up with my progress on my website – www.thegingerswan.wix.com/fasterfitterthinner

All the money I raise will go to The Stroke Association.  It's a charity close to my heart as stroke has affected three generations of my close family.  My grandfather and mother are both still recovering from stroke-related issues and are a constant source of inspiration for me.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
