Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

It's time to follow up last year's Faster Fitter Thinner challenges!

In 2015, I'm concentrating on cycling and so I'll be taking part in four massive rides in the hope that I can reach £2,000 raised over two years for The Stroke Association.  Here are the rides I'll be doing:

June 7 - Dragon Ride - 230km
June 14 - Velothon Wales - 140km
July 6 to July 10 - Toon To Town - 750km
August 2 - Ride London 100 - 160km

In addition to my rides, my good friend and fellow Sky Velo-ist Anna Barker has chosen to support my fundraising by riding L'Etape du Tour! It takes place on Sunday 19 July and follows the route of Stage 19 of the Tour de France which goes over some of the most iconic climbs in the Alps.  I'm thrilled she's chosen to help me raise money for The Stroke Association!

I'm riding for The Stroke Association because the condition has affected three generations of my family.  More people need to be more aware of the work of this great charity!
