Fasting for the Coronavirus Emergency Appeal · 1 May 2020

With your help, well be supporting vulnerable communities in the UK as well as distributing family hygiene kits that are customised to protect against COVID-19 in nine countries, with a focus on people living in displacement and refugee camps.

Story

Ten colleagues will be fasting for one day from sunrise to sunset on
Wednesday
13th May - that’s no food or drink for 17 hours! They are doing it as a personal challenge and to raise money for Human Appeal who are running a ‘Coronavirus Emergency Appeal ‘ campaign which aims to provide food and hygiene kits to the most vulnerable communities in the UK  in partnership with Age UK Manchester, Birmingham and Leicester, and also helping communities across nine other countries. I would be immensely grateful if you would make a donation to sponsor these brave souls.
Many thanks and all the best.

UPDATE: the fast day was completed successfully. Many thanks to the 10 volunteers who fasted and to everyone who donated. Very much appreciated. All the best to everyone.
