Zakat Eligible

This month, millions of people around the world will observe daylight fasting during the month of Ramadan (sacred to Muslims). Here in the UK, thousands of employees across various industries will do the same, undertaking daily c.15 hour fasts. 

So whilst we're skipping meals, we thought why not put that saved money to good use - by feeding others most in need. 

Its simple and everybody can take part, whether you're fasting or not!

This year, we want to help the devastated survivors and communities affected by the Turkey - Syrian Earthquake that has taken over 50,000 lives and left hundreds of thousands homeless. In Syria, already decimated by years of civil war, poor families are suffering even more. Your donations will go towards feeding families who have little to even break their fasts with. Just £60 can provide daily meals, both iftar and Suhoor, to one family during the month of Ramadan. Courtesy of international humanitarian relief charity - Muslim Aid. This cause is fully Zakat eligible.

Muslim Aid develop long-term development projects, providing sustainable living for poor communities & survivors of natural disasters as well as providing emergency relief. They work with all in need, regardless of race, religion, gender, nationality or political opinion. It is our humanity that unites us all.
