Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit

Fat Boy 3 Equipe are three friends who ride classic Lambretta's. Members of the Oxford Roadrunners Scooter Club (ORRSC) who are historically well renowned for scooter sporting trials and racing. Never ones to turn down a challenge, the Fat Boy 3, Mark Byron, Robert Farquharson and Paul Lowden bought a 1968 50cc Lui Lambretta between themselves to enter the Nifty Fifty Charity Endurance race on the 24th of March , a five hour Motocross dirt track Charity Fundraising event using 50cc motorcycles.

ORRSC were established in 1978, which makes 2018 the Scooter Clubs 40th Anniversary. Over the years ORRSC have raised many thousands of pounds for Charity with various Anniversary events. Coupled with a 40th Anniversary Charity Fundraiser in September, the FB3 ORRSC members decided to add a little bit extra to funds raised, and entered the Nifty Fifty event. A 50cc Lambretta was bought, stripped, sprayed, tuned and rebuilt ready for racing all within 6 months between the FB3... ready to race and FUNdraise! Our chosen FB3 Charity for this event is Barnardo's, the Children's Charity, so please give generously to this deserving cause. Thank you. The FB3.
