Story

Fat Boys Slim Challenge 2006 - John Rice & Kevin Tuohy - London to Amsterdam

Dear Friends,

After months of training, not inconsiderable weight loss and a couple of jars of Vaseline, we are embarking on a journey.

On Wednesday 4th October we will set off from the London Metal Exchange in the City of London, on a TANDEM, aiming to arrive in Amsterdam, 200 miles later, on Saturday 7th.

The purpose of our journey is to raise money for our chosen charity, Ordinary to Extraordinary. O2e is a recently formed, registered charity, formed to inspire individuals to physically challenge themselves in aid of established children's charities.

This first full year of O2e activity has inspired challenges including endurance canoeing & running, extreme skiing and has even resulted in a record breaking cycle ride of Ireland. Full details of all challenges are available at www.o2e.org

John and I ask for your financial support in aid of our chosen charities, Debra, Make-a-Wish and the Rainbow Trust. As participants of O2e, we will meet all expenses related to our challenge so you can rest assured that every penny pledged goes directly to help children less fortunate than our own.

Please donate now to ensure that our efforts translates into helping others.

Please take a look at www.o2e.org, where additional sponsor forms can be downloaded.

Thank you!

John Rice & Kevin Tuohy.
