The Animal Centre is an independent charity all the money it needs to survive is raised from Coventry & Nuneaton areas. The branch runs a busy animal centre rehoming over 1000 animals per year. In the current economic climate the centre needs help to meet its daily running costs of £1,000 per day.

Story

Hi there, and thanks for visiting our "just Giving" page.

The RSPCA Centre in Coventry is an independent rescue centre and funded entirely by donations from the public..that's YOU !! With an anual veterinary cost of £50K+ along with the staffing expenses and current cost of rebuilding the centre they need all the help you can give.

They rehome over 1000 animals a year that would otherwise be left in unsatisfactory conditions or put to sleep. The centre do an amazing job and the staff work tirelessly to ensure the survival and welfare of these animals.

Fatdogfriends are one of Warwickshire's largest Petcare and dog walking companies and good friends of the RSPCA, in fact Jenny from the Centre works with us once a week.  We have helped out with events in the past and this year decided to climb Britains three highest peaks as we belive your donations should be matched by the effort we put in.

On the 24th September 2010 5 of us will be heading to Glasgow to meet up with the team from MAXIMUM ADVENTURE who will be providing guidance, transport and support for the 24 hrs. We will spend our first night in a local B&B and then hit Ben Nevis first thing in the morning. 24 hrs later we will be in the carpark at Crib Goch in wales having climed Ben Nevis, transfered to Scarfell Pike, scaled it and then made the final journey to Snowdon and conquered our final mountain.

We have received our fitness plans, Kit lists and transport plans.

Please give anything you can, even a quid!  We know everybody is fed up with the usual fund raisers so we are going all out to show our commitment. Please ask family and friends to donate too.

Help us to give these animals a second chance for a good life.

Many thanks. Tim. Jenny, Ali, Glen and Sarah.
