The purpose of the Sam Pilcher Trust is to help Children and Adolescents who are suffering from Cancer. We provide support and financial help for the families during their treatment. We are also working directly with the local hospitals to provide better facilities and update equipment.

Story

Hey there everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

At midday on the 10th of June 2016, four of us 'Stow Fatties' (Louisa, Adrienne, Megan and Mimi) are going to be jumping out of a plane from some ridiculously high altitude. Though mildly terrifying, it is for a great cause! We will be jumping in aid of an incredible local charity; The Sam Pilcher Trust.

Sam lived in Upper Slaughter, very close to where the 4 of us work and we have got to know his lovely parents very well through working there and raising money for the charity with previous events. He was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in September 2008 and bravely battled with this dreadful disease until the day he died on the 4th of June 2010, aged 11.

It was Sam who originally decided to begin fundraising to help other children who were suffering from Leukemia. During his illness he took part in many fundraising activities and today the trust continues to fundraise in his memory.

Visit the trust page here for more info: http://www.sampilchertrust.org.uk and please help us to raise money for this wonderful cause. All donations, however small will help us on our way!

Thanks so much for supporting us!
