Lots of you know I volunteer for LIVES, what you may not know is that I started as a Community First Responder over a decade ago and since then have changed career and trained to be a paramedic before going on to work in some of the most amazing teams in hazardous response, incident command and HEMS.  

But none of this compares to the buzz I get from working as part of the LIVES team alongside amazing volunteers from all backgrounds that literally save lives every day and make a massive difference to their Lincolnshire communities.

LIVES is a charity that is 52 years old and still delivers incredibly high levels of care prehospitally supporting the ambulance service across Lincolnshire. This is not cheap and easy to deliver and as a charity we have to raise significant amounts of money each year to keep saving lives.
