I am running London Marathon on 26th April 2015. This will be a huge challenge for me and I am so glad I have finally plucked up the courage to run this brilliant event and for such a worthy cause.

I will be fundraising for Carers UK. This particular charity has a personal place in my heart, it is also a fantastic charity to raise money for as 1 in 8 of us are currently carers - that is 6.5 million carers in the UK. Some carers are caring at such a young age and shouldn't have the frightening and lonely experience of caring for a loved one, whilst others are at an older and more vulnerable age and should be taking a back seat in life. It doesn't matter the age of the carer it is still a tough and daunting thing  to do for all, physically and mentally. 

Carers UK is here to listen, to give Carers expert information and advice that’s tailored to their situation, to champion their rights and support them in finding new ways to manage at home, at work, or wherever they are. After all carers need a little helping hand too. 

Please help me achieve my target of £2,000 for this amazing charity!
