50,000 steps for 50,000 kids · 12 January 2022

We’re the National Deaf Children’s Society, the charity for deaf children with any level of hearing loss. Whatever the question or challenge, we’ll help find a way through. We believe in a world where anything is possible for deaf children. Together, let’s make sure nothing holds deaf children back.

Story

I am joining fellow mummy Tess - Team Tess - to raise funds for the National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS). Tess will be doing 50,000 steps a week for a year, I will be doing 50,000 steps per week until the end of May (until the end of my maternity leave)!

The NDCS provides brilliant support to the 50,000 children in the UK who live with hearing loss, and their families. To celebrate every one of those amazing children and to support the NDCS with the fantastic work that they do, we are walking 50,000 steps per week. Some of us are doing this for a month, and some for a year. However the challenge is being done, we hope you can help us raise our collective target for this brilliant charity.
