Next year my friend Adam and I are planning to ride the 300 miles from London to Paris to raise money for the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. They provide excellent, invaluable care and support to families with children who have terminal illnesses. Sadly, Adam and his wife Kate had to have first hand experience of this with their daughter Iris and we will be riding in memory of her.

We're both slightly podgy, nearly 40 somethings so this is going to be a massive challenge for both of us. The furthest I've ever ridden previously is 57 miles so it's a bit further!
