We provide free ‘Homes from Home’ to keep families together

Story

We've joined together to raise money for The Sick Children's Trust by attempting the foolhardy challenge of climbing the 3 highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in just 24 hours over the weekend of the 29th September 2017.

The Sick Children's Trust believes keeping families together significantly improves the recovery of seriously ill children. They provide free, high-quality ‘Home from Home’ accommodation, as well as emotional and practical support, to families with sick children in hospital in the UK.

You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. When we reach this target, we will be able to fund a room in one of The Sick Children's Trust Houses for a year.

Your donation can really help us smash this goal.

Our team is comprised of the following:

  • Craig Ashby
  • Chris Hames
  • Naomi Swinford
  • Ali Filtness
  • Kerry Brooke
  • Karen Dickens
  • Sue Peace
  • Phoebe Robertson
  • Ruth Bailey

About the charity

The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten ‘Homes from Home’. By providing families with somewhere to stay near their child they have one less thing to worry about.
