We rescue and rehome cats and dogs to help them find their forever homes

Story

Graham & I decided to have some fun & cycle between the last two iron viaducts in Britain - Meldon in Devon & Bennerley, recently restored, that spans Notts & Derbyshire.
A lazy 7 days, averaging about 50 miles a day......
Along the way, we will pedal over the Clifton Suspension Bridge, wobble across the Severn Bridge, stop near Ironbridge and gaze at Friargate Bridge in Derby, now no longer usable.

We chose this charity in memory of Marley, a lovely pub dog at the Mash & Press now chasing rabbits in the sky....aiming to finish there early evening on 27th May for a welcome ale!

The charity: Leicester Animal Aid is a rescue and rehoming Centre for cats and dogs, based in Huncote, Leicestershire.
Every year, we rescue and rehome up to 400 animals who are neglected, lost, abandoned or given up because their owners can no longer care for them. We can only help animals in need of forever homes thanks to the kindness and generosity of our supporters and fundraisers. Your donation could help buy essential items like a microchip for an animal, a warm and cosy bed or a veterinary health check and essential vaccinations.

About the charity

L.A.A. is a rehoming centre for cats and dogs. Every year, we care for around 300 animals who are lost, abandoned, neglected, unwanted or relinquished because their owners can no longer look after them. Our vision is happy pets in responsible, loving homes. Thank you for your support.
