The Fearless friends challenge! · 17 September 2022

The DPJ Foundation is a Welsh charity to support those in rural communities and in agriculture with mental health problems. We do this by reducing the stigma that surrounds poor mental health, educating people with mental health awareness training and providing counselling and a 24/7 helpline.

Story

Trystan, Mali, Reuben and Freddie, along with their siblings are undertaking another challenge following the success of last years ‘Trystans challenge’ this year they have named themselves the Fearless Friends and will be taking on another triathlon challenge.

The fearless friends will be climbing Pen Y Fan on Saturday 17th September. On Sunday 18th they will be cycling around Llys Y Fran Dam and then taking part in a  water activity to complete their triathlon.

This year the fearless friends have decided to use the money fundraiser for a very specific reason. All money raised will go towards purchasing children's books that are being developed by The DPJ foundation to support children who have been bereaved. When the books are completed they will be purchased and distributed in schools by the Fearless friends. The more money they raise, the more books that can be purchased to go in to schools to support children.

Mali, Trystan, Reuben and Freddie are very grateful for any donations you can make and promise to do their best in their challenge. They have all either experienced loss or have friends who have experienced loss and are looking forward to being able to distribute this books to help children in similar circumstances.
