Story

Thank you for visiting our page. We are supporting Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. It is a cause particularly close to our hearts as Lily, our lovely friend and part of the team completing this challenge, was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive sarcoma, in November 2019 at the age of 20. Lily has been through gruelling chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and experienced first hand the reality of a diagnosis of sarcoma cancer. Awareness is crucial for early diagnosis, so we hope we can raise both awareness and money to help researchers find answers, improve treatments and support people like Lily, who has been an inspiration to us all through this difficult time. Thank you for your support.
