The best form is Sadaqah Jariyah is giving water. The Prophet (SAW) said: “The best charity is giving water to drink,” so giving water is a great charitable act that brings us closer to Allah (SWT).

Sadaqah Jariyah is a long-term kindness that accrues ongoing reward from Allah (SWT). When someone decides to build a well as an act of Sadaqah Jariyah, they are rewarded for the act. But they are also rewarded every time someone or something uses or drinks from the well.

Water charity is the most rewarding of all as water is the key to all life. Yet across the globe, a staggering 785 million people are going thirsty each and every day. Without safe and clean water to drink, these people are at risk of dehydration, disease and at worse: death.
