Story

We wanted to choose three children who would benefit from the love that you feel for our amazing mum, grandmother, wife, sister, aunty, great aunty and phenomenal friend to all.

As most of you know we raised a considerable amount for our darling Evie and  Laura was so very saddened by her struggle and suffering. Laura became renowned for her 'Evie cupcakes' which she brought along to hospital appointments and hospital wards to thank those that attempted to ease her suffering.

Laura had a tenacity for life, living, laughter, food, friends, family, singing and Gin. It is these qualities that allowed stranger to become friend and friend to become family. Known affectionately by some as Mumma Ford.

Laura loved openly, laughed whole heartedly and advised with honesty. Her death has been earth moving and has taken the ground from beneath us all. Why these things happen we will never know.

What we can do, is make a positive change to the lives of children because of her. Perhaps allowing a mother or father to feel hopeful,  a child to believe they will walk one day, a family to have their faith in humanity restored.

Please read about the three children we have chosen. Choose one, choose all three, donate with generosity and love those around you.

With love and thanks
