As a part of Hero Week 2016, I am going to be a part of the Marrow National Skydive! This will be my first ever skydive, and it will be a massive but exciting new challenge. 

Marrow is the student branch of Antony Nolan. We register people onto the bone marrow donor register and helps to save lives of patients with blood cancers. Currently the only way to cure some of these rare blood disorders is bone marrow transplant, many patients rely on it as their last resort. Only limited proportion of patients are able to find perfect matches amongst their family members, so majority of patients that require bone marrow transplant rely on the bone marrow register. Therefore the more people we have on the register, more lives we can save! In the past few years, Leeds has managed to register over 4000 people, and it costs £60 per person we register. So I would like to raise as much money as I can to help to sign up more people on to the national register.
