Fundraising for Vulcan To The Sky Trust
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So here I am running for the Vulcan. The plane my dad adored, he was a active member of the Vulcan to the Sky club and the XH558 played such an important part of his life. My dad suddenly died last November and life hasn't been the same since. If my run and the money raised can ensure the survival of the XH558 then I'm sure to make my dad proud.
Dad and I followed the last flight of the Vulcan around the UK via news articles and social media and it was such a sad day when she was finally grounded. My dad was so pleased when he read and saw (he was often down visiting XH558) future generations being inspired by such an iconic aircraft.
The highlight of an air show was the ultimate Vulcan Howl.
2015 we lost the last flying Vulcan, 2016 I sadly lost my best friend my dad, so please don't let 2017 be the year the nation lose XH558 forever.
