Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am really excited to tell you that I have been selected to volunteer in Tanzania with Raleigh International on an International Citizen Service placement in February 2020! 

I will be working with youth volunteers from the UK and Tanzania and staying with a host family for 3 months, helping with sustainable projects, such as providing access to clean water and equipping the community with skills and knowledge that will ensure growth and development in the future.

The first part of my placement is a challenge to raise £1,500 towards the work of Raleigh International. ICS is 90% funded by the government so costs for visas, flights, travel and medical insurance, medication, vaccines and food have been paid for. All the extra funds volunteers raise will support ICS to run the programme effectively, providing resources for community projects that contribute directly towards ending poverty in line with the sustainable development goals.

I am going to be running the Richmond Park 10K on the 11th January! I will also be organising bake sales, selling clothes on depop and dog walking!  You can keep track of how I get on here on my JustGiving page. Any contribution from you will make a real difference to the lives of people in developing countries.
