Felix's Mariana Trench Cycle Challenge · 24 March 2021

Fauna & Flora International (FFI) was the world's first international conservation organisation, established in 1903. Our vision is of a sustainable future for the planet, where biodiversity is effectively conserved by the people who live closest to it, supported by the global community.

Story

After getting into cycling over lock-down and getting a new road bike for his tenth birthday, Felix has decided to challenge himself to cycling from the bottom of the Mariana Trench up to sea level over the Easter holidays (a vertical ascent of 11,034 metres). He will do this in phases, adding up the vertical ascent from each bike ride until he hits his target, and would like to raise money for his favourite animals - tigers! We have chosen to support the charity Flora and Fauna International for the work that they do with Sumatran tigers. We are immensely proud of him and wish him the best of luck. If you are able to support this cause in any way we would be extremely grateful. Thank you!
