Honeypot’s vision is for every child to make the most of their one chance at childhood. Since 1996 we have been working to enhance the lives of vulnerable children and young carers aged 5-12 years by providing residential respite breaks and on-going outreach support.

Story

Hello my name is Felix and I am 10 years old. I live in Kent.

I know I am very lucky to have a healthy family, but I know other children my age are not as fortunate. Did you know there are 195,000 young carers in the UK? Honeypot charity helps young carers aged 5-10 with respite breaks.

Because of Coronavirus the charity is helping young carers at home and they need our help more than ever.

I am happy to have a chance to help so I am going to run 2km every day until I go back to school in September. There are just over 100 days so this means I will run over 200 km.
