Story

Fénian Ó Duġhaén passed away unexpectedly in July 2013 just a few days before his 26th birthday.

Fénian had worked and studied at the University of Leicester since 2005, where he had been an active member of the Students’ Union.

Described by one of his tutors as an intelligent and charismatic student, Fénian was genuinely interested in and had compassion for all those around him. He will be sorely missed by many hundreds of people, none more obviously than his parents and family.

As well as dealing with deep grief at his passing, Fénian’s family are suddenly faced with considerable expense for a funeral they could not have expected or planned for.

We are fundraising for the Ó Duġhaén family to help them pay for a final farewell to Fénian.

Any amount you are able to donate will be hugely appreciated.
