Charity festival for Craig · 26 September 2020

At YBTC, we walk beside anyone impacted by a brain tumour diagnosis through every step of their journey. Our local support brings comfort, care, and hope to families across Yorkshire- while our local research and investment in 'pump priming' brings us closer to kinder treatments and a cure.

Story

My cousin Craig has a terminal brain tumour and this charity has helped him and helps so many people with brain tumours. we are holding a festival with multiple live music acts at the cock of the north in hipperholme on the 26th of September starting from 2pm. the pub will be donating the money they would usually be paying the bands and we would like to raise as much money as possible for this charity. Brain Tumours can affect anyone, at any time. They are the single biggest killer of the under 40's in the UKEvery week approx 15 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour in Yorkshire. Research has been underfunded for brain tumours, with current treatments nearly 40 years old.We aim to fund world-class research here in Yorkshire to find treatments and a cure. Whilst we do that we will provide support to people living with and affected by brain tumours, emotionally, practically and financially for as long as they need us.
