Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  Roberto Cofresi, Jess Donnell and David Chong are celebrating Freddie Mercury's birthday by joining the Mercury Phoenix Trust in their annual Freddie For A Day event.

Our special take on FFAD will take place on 14 September 2013. The event will include:

- a concert performance of Queen songs by over 20 different North Carolina USA musical acts,

- an art exhibit of Freddie portraits by various artists,

- a raffle of various goods from local area businesses, and

- a costume contest.

The event will take place at Chapel Hill Underground, in Chapel Hill North Carolina

The Freddie portraits will be on view at Chapel Hill Underground from September 5 to 30.

All the proceeds raised via Just Giving, the concert, the sale of the Freddie portraits, and the sale of raffle tickets will be split 50/50 between the Mercury Phoenix Trust and Planned Parenthood of North Carolina.

If you are on Facebook, and for details on the artists, contributors and more, you can visit the page for the event here.
