The Leukaemia Busters Forever Forward Campaign was launched in June 2006 to help raise £500,000 for the refurbishment, re-equipping and relaunch of our laboratory at Southampton General Hospital.
We have successfully raised a staggering £180,000 for Phase I which enabled the refurbishment work to be started in May 2007.
We are now in Phase II, with a target of raising a further £150,000 for all of the essential items required to equip the laboratory, enabling our research to continue. This is essential as we strive towards our goal of finding new and safer treatments for children and adults with leukaemia.
The refurbishment work on the laboratory will be finished later this summer, and then the re-equipping can begin. Any support you can give to help towards these costs would be fantastic. If you would like more information on the opportunities we have to Get Involved with the charity and our fundraising please visit us at www.leukaemiabusters.org.uk or call us on 02380 636607.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. Leukaemia Busters will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28p in every £1 will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Thank you for your support, together we are fighting for their lives, and every penny you can give really counts.
