After successfully completing half marathons last year, I have somehow started to enjoy running. So, I thought it would only make sense to run the Liverpool half marathon for a second time (hopefully no oxygen needed this time!), raising money for STAR (Student Action for Refugees). As a member of the university of Liverpool’s STAR society, I am running in support of asylum seekers and refugees in Liverpool and across the world who deserve to feel welcomed and safe.

STAR is a national charity that welcomes refugees to the UK by campaigning for refugee's rights, educating people about asylum and supporting refugees in local communities. All donations will go to STAR, helping to support STAR groups across the UK's universities.
