Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit Farsley Farfield Primary School' JustGiving page in aid of Unicef.
On October 13th 2015, we will be celebrating World Maths Day. It will be a day of lots of Maths activities and hard work, but also lots of fun! Together we hope to stretch our brains and challenge ourselves, while also raising lots of cash for Unicef, for the Syrian refugees.
Plans for the day have been put together by the children on the school council.
- Every class will be doing Maths based on a special book called '365 Penguins.'
- We're all coming to school dressed as penguins!
- All the children from Years 2-6 will be taking part in challenges on Mathletics, as part of World Maths Day.
- There will be a Breakfast and a Teatime Mathletics session.
- There will be a special Family Movie Night, for all the penguins to return and enjoy watching 'Happy Feet.'
- Send a donation in to school with your child.
- Sponsor your child's Mathletics score for the week of World Maths Day.
- Purchase a ticket for the Family Movie Night.
- Donate on our 'Just Giving' page.
