Why it's important to us:
Message from Rob:
The Heart Research UK charity is very close to our hearts here at Firehouse Fitness (no pun intended). On the 24th November 2016 my Mother Margaret (who some of you will know) was struck down with a rare heart condition called Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy. The condition was only the 2nd recorded in 5 years at the Freeman Heart Specialist Hospital in Newcastle. Thankfully, Mum pulled through and she is now well on the road the recovery. The Firehouse team are now trying to raise as much money as possible for Heart Research UK so that they can continue their, pioneering research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease.
The Challenge:
The firehouse fitness team and members will take part in FHF sessions on the hour, every hour, for 24 hours
When:
21 October - 22 October 8am - 8am
Where: Firehouse Fitness Sheffield, Whiterose Business Park, Halfway, Sheffield, S20 3PJ
