Back in 2006, we lost our lovely Mum Margie to a rare form of bile duct cancer with liver cancer (secondary). It was a shock diagnosis delivered to such a fit, healthy lady. Like so many others, our family experienced the care, compassion and bereavement services that fall under the palliative care umbrella. This propelled me towards becoming a champion and advocate for palliative care. The difference it can make to people and their families from diagnosis to bereavement, is simply incredible.

THRF Group Palliative Care provides funds for essential services to patients at end of life, transformational research and education to support patients and their families utilising palliative care services across South Australia.

THRF Group Palliative Care raises money to support these end of life services not traditionally funded by Government.
