Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.

Fi has always wanted to run a marathon and was pleasantly surprised (!) when she realised that New York's fell on her 40th Birthday.  Chris was very much a case of "if I'm coming with you, I might as well run it too!" and so the story began.

We wanted to find a local, unsung charity who could benefit from our endeavours and we think we've done that in the Forget-Me-Not Club at Banchory.  This amazing centre is manned by volunteers and gives solace to Dementia sufferers and their carers. It is a tranquil, serene environment that provides a safe secure environment for everybody who visits.

If you feel that you would like to sponsor us in the marathon, your donations will be well used as they continue to refurbish their new centre.  All donations, large and small, are equally important and will make our training more worthwhile.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
